How crackers benefit from providing free cracks and serials for softwares?

I wanted to ask about the real benefit crackers get from cracking softwares and provide cracks and serials for free.

some cracks come with a separate exe file that is caught as a virus by different anti viruses , while other crack came very pure and contain NO viruses or any thing ...what do they benefit ?

boredom, and code experience. in i way it's like that friend that will always help you fix your car. he does it because it's something he enjoys doing.
Many don't, they just do it for the love of the game.
I don't know how they do it
It is so they and others can use software they didn't pay for (usually).
