Whats wrong with my laptop?

Hello all..

I used to have mcafee software running on my lappy but i deleted it cos i had been having problems wif its virus scan..i can't enable it due to this active shield problem..

So i tried the norton 15-day trial thingy to try how it works..then i realise i don't like norton as its like irritating...my cousin then installed me avg anti-virus and zone alarm firewall...

I tried to uninstall the norton trial but the com just like hang whenever i tried..

After that i feel that my laptop had been lagging like hell and i can't connect to the internet using my wireless card..n i can't connect to p2p programs like ares even when using home wired connection.

But whenever i did a full com scan wif avg..it always says no virus found..n its an updated version

So anyone knows wats the real problem here?? thanx a lot...appreciate ur ti

The reason why is that McAfee %26 Norton are EXTREMELY invasive softwares. They are really taking over your PC and are eating up much of your memory resources.

That is why I advise to get AVG free Edition %26 zone alarm as firewall and when it comes to a spyware removal I go for Adaware SE free edition.

Now regarding your wireless card don't panick.

First get ride of Norton.

Second tell us if the wireless card is built in or you had to buy an adapter. If you had to buy an adapter then uninstall your wireless card%26software , reboot , reset your wireless router to default and reinstall all over againincluding your wireless card %26 software.
