Why can't I send emails to yahoo accts from my road runner acct?

I can send via the web version of my RR mail but when I try to send an email using Outlook and my RR acct, I can not send emails to Yahoo accounts. I've run my anti-virus and anti-spyware and I'm clean. I've tried a system restore to back before the problem started and the problem persists. I've tried reinstalling my Outlook software and tried updating my Outlook software. Problem persists. Thanks for any and all help.

I found your question interesting and tried sending myself an email to my road runner account. I didn't have a problem the getting their. I checked the account and the email did arrive. It maybe a problem with your internet explorer, in the security settings, it maybe set to high for your outlook to receive your email from your yahoo account. Outlook is directly tied to your Internet Explorer settings.

Try setting up the email in your contacts, then try to send the email to the yahoo address.
