i have a toshiba laptop and my games were running smoothly. well i decided to clean out my laptop of software i didnt need that came with my laptop. And i also installed avg anti virus. ever since that day i have trouble playing my game because it would lag my controlling. I uninstalled AVg and the problem has still not went away. Please help.

ROP, i think avg has seriously effected your operating system. If you want your pc to be fully in previous state, i suggest you reinstall the operating system and see. Same thing happened to me and i tried everything and i ended up with reinstalling the operating system. That fixed the problem.

you have something running in the background...open task manager and check in processes to see what is running in the back ground..end any thing you don't think you need running..And don't worry if you close something you need,just restart and all will be OK...good luck
