don't connect to the internet, don't insert removable media in your computer.

The best free spyware tool would probably be Spybot - Search and destroy.

Avg is ok, but Nod32 picked up way more viruses than Avg did...but it's only free for 30 days.

But Spybot has been the fave in the anti-Spyware....not just antivirus.
