Is Norton Systematic really the best for anti-virus and system tools? I have a Gateway MX6214 120GB Core Duo2, 2GB memory. Will Norton Protect better than any other program? If not what will?

Whoever said so obviously likes software which hogs memory and makes your computer unnecessarily slower.

There are other anti-virus/anti-spy/firewall software out there that offers good protection, yet doesn't slow down your system like Symantic's software does.

You can download a bunch of free software like AVG or Avast! anti-virus and combine that with other free programs like Spyware Blaster and Spybot Search %26 Destroy to make a nice free package which is almost as good as a commercial security suite.
