I was wondering if clicking a link repeatedly (which is really dumb, but I did it) would add the site the link led to to your favorites or something, because even after I deleted the history, temp. internet files, and ran several anti-spyware/virus software, the stupid link keeps showing up in auto complete. I can't find the site in my favorites. Can anybody tell me what's going on, and how to fix it (preferably without downloading new software)?
Permanent History?suzuki
This is a SMALL download but should remove it.

Have you also tried deleting forms and passwords?
To disable AutoComplete (For Internet Explorer 7.0):
* Run Internet Explorer
* Click Tools
* Click Internet Options
* Click on the "Content" tab
* In the AutoComplete section, click Settings
* In all the white boxes under "Use AutoComplete for" un-check everything and click "OK"
