Help me with this software problem?

1) Is COMODO Firewall Pro the best firewall?

2) Every setup files that I downloaded (free anti-virus, free anti-rootkit) from www.gisoft.com is not installable except the free spyware. It says that the file is corrupted or incomplete. Any suggestions?

3) Is it good if I use a different program for firewall,anti-spyware, anti-virus, n anti-rootkit? For examples COMODO for firewall, AVG for anti-spyware, anti-virus, n anti-rootkit?

I just went to the main page on Download. On the right hand side on the top, most popular down loads is AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition. Not sure where you are down loading from-try if from there. You should be able to do it. Your file cannot be corrupted. Try loading software one at a time. Rebooting each time. I have MS Vista, got a similar msg. It just ran through and loaded it sucessfully. Also check remaining HD space.

For free AVG anti virus program, you can download it from www,download.com instead of www.grisoft.com . It is because you may not know which file you need to download at www.grisoft.com. but at www.download.com you can know for sure which one you need to download.

Just key in 'avg' at Download.com search box and download AVG installation file from the results page.
