Need help pleas?

ok hear goes..... i rebooted my whole computer last week,wiped it clean and started fresh.. after doing tht got tied up doing other stuff and never got around to installing any anti virus

wet ot andcame home to find my boyfriend downloaing his music albums on utorrents......remember i had NO ANTI VIRUS! or any security software for that mater...oops

since then i have been continuosly getting pop ups on explora and cant find a way of stopping them. comp is also running alot slower. ive deleated the files he downloaded and ran mcaffee antivirus but no viruses were detected and my comp is doing my head in now with pop ups. i really dont wnt to have to re-boot the whole thing again what shall i do ?????

reinstall windows and format the hard drive put drivers on and put an antivirus software right after you put on windows do not let your boyfreind download his music to your pc anymore

Pop ups are usually not viruses, they are spyware. You need to download, install, update and run a couple of good anti spyware programs. I'll list a couple that I use all the time.
