Adware virus. When my anti virus detects it, the software says its 'access denied'. So what I need to do is manually update the software. When I try to manually update, the software states that it cannot connect to the internet. It says I need to state my 'proxy' and which port to use. I dont know what a 'proxy' is or how to find it. I really need your help. This adware is messing with my registery. I dont want to call a technician, because I know that it can be dealt with personally. PLEASE HELP.

Once your pc is clean, update your antivirus and set it up so it will download the updates automatically. Once that's done, you can get your antivirus program to run at certain times of the day or night (every day or every night) to keep you and your pc happy.
