My PC is very slow and my task manager is not working please HELP !!?

My Computer has become too slow and is denying me access to certain programs like the task manager and some other programs .

I have tried certain ( START =%26gt; RUN ) using "gpedit.msc ; Regedit.exe ; msconfig.exe ; and REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentV... /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f " but non of them worked in getting my Task Manager .

I have tried to Check for errors , and tried Norton Anti-Virus , Spybot , and SUPERAntiSpyware but non of them got rid of the virus nor fixed my problems .

your antivirus are not enough to clean the virus. please try kaspersky 7.

There is a virus these days which diseble the task manager....

so this might be the reason..

If ur computer is also slow i recomend u to format and re install Windows or any othe O/S...

I am not sure if it's going to work, but you can try it.

Go to "Start", click "Run", type "control admintools". When a window called Administrative Tools opens, double click on "Local Security Policy" and then double click on "Software Restriction Policies". and try to change the setting inside.
