Some people say it is not compatible with Norton anti virus and some programs already on your computor.

Has any body received the Dell CDs for Microsoft Vista? Have you had any trouble with the new software?aurora

I've heard too many bad things about Vista that I will continue to use and buy XP. Dell offers XP on their computers now, since customers complained about the crappy Vista and only being able to get Vista. Vista is not compatible with A LOT of software, so I would stick with XP.

Vista is like the new Windows ME...remember that? I would wait a few years until Vista works better.

I think my next laptop will be Dell since they are the only ones I can find who still offer XP on their new computers.
