Am I being cheated by software?!?

Ok, I got this free anti virus thing called spy ware docter, you've probably heard of it, well, I got it because my computer was a lil slower than usual, after I got it and scanned its like every 5 minutes my computer will stop working and have tons of end now programs and I cant even turn it off on the computer, I have to do it manually

Now if the program is really named spy ware docter then you have a problem. A lot of malicious code is put out on the net to trick people. Before you download anything that says free research it, unless its from a company you can trust. Try using Trend micros PC Cillian or Panda's active scan if you still can access the net. If that doesn't help. You might need to seek professional assistance. If your just looking for a good free spy ware program try spybot S%26D(do not stray from teh name i have the link right here as well

If it wasn't it was probably a fake one that actually puts bad things into your computer.

There are a lot of fake ant virus or any type of programs like that that are actually bad for you. Most of them mimic the names of legimate ones.

It doesn't seem like your program is listed, but new ones seem to be created every day so delete it as fast as you can, get a legimate anti-virus, anti-malware, anti-spyware, etc and scan your computer.

Yep......a lot of the free spyware downloads are actually loaded with spyware and malware and trojans etc.
