Why was there no notification of the change in Online Protection?

Apparently Yahoo dumped the CA anti-virus protection package on January 15th and replaced it with Norton. Norton will not work with less than 512Mb of RAM. At the moment I have 256 Mb and therefore have no anti-virus protection (I removed the CA software, per Yahoo instructions). I received no notification of the change and no notification of the RAM requirement. This is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

You need a new computer or update purchase new memory chips. I am running 2GB of RAM.

Yahoo does not send out any notifications of any changes to their security. I would never use their security an especially being they use Nortons junk.

Actually with such low RAM, I am unable to think of anything that will not crash your system that is free or purchased.

invest in new comp...
I hate when people tell you that you have to upgrade this-or-that, but in this case it's true; there's not much that will run on that little RAM. But RAM is literally dirt cheap now...
