I'm cleaning up my cleints pc to make it run quicker. Alot of stuff that might be legit or mocking legit virus.

I quess I need to know the quickest safest way to remove this stuff. He already has avg anti virus. He also has aol email/software installed.

Some examples that I am researching to see if I can stop the processing (though I know when I end those processes, it can pop up again when I start the pc again unless I get it off from it's root):

rundll32.exe - mock?

helpsvc.exe (I researced finding it's not critical to run)

msiexec.exe (I researched finding it's a virus)

waol.exe (I researched that this is a quicken thing - parasite variant)

msiexec.exe (there are two of these processing - could one be bogus? I know it's a windows installer thing)

svchost.ext (there are three of these processing)

explorer.exe - (all lower case letters. could be mock?)

thanks everyone!

Those all appear to be legit. except for svchost.ext, unless you meant svchost.exe. You really need to do a virus scan to determine if they legit or not. If you are not sure always use MSCONFIG to do a selective start up and you can get a general idea of what is going on.
