How can I have Yahoo without Norton?

Since installing your software upgrade including Norton anti virus my ability to work has been significantly impaired. The stupid system insists on virus checking every file I open including ones I have created myself in Microsoft products. I would say my computer now works at about 25% of the original speed and it is driving me mad. I was quite happy with the anti virus I had previously which gave me no serious virus problems. How do I get Norton off?

I too have had trouble removing Norton products from my pc in the past, and I work in IT for a living, so don't feel bad. Here's a link to help you remove the program. If that doesn't work, your going to have to do a search on Symantec's site for removing it from your pc and registry manually...... which is a very delicate situation. Be careful if you do, since you can render your PC useless if you delete critical info (which means you'd have to reinstall Windows on your hard drive).

No offence intended but. It is your computer and not Yahoo's, Why did you download software that a web-site promotes solely to plaster advertising all over your computer and increase there profits?

Yahoo is just a website and needs no special

software or so-called "upgrade" to view or use.
