Can somebody tell me ..how ?

I installed some software such as anti-viruses, and then i uninstalled them , but for some reasons they are still in my pc but could not find them , they are not either in THE ALL PROGRAMS or THE ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS , but my pc keeps telling me they are in THE ADD OR REMOVE PROGRAMS . Can anybody tell me how to find them and delete the entire softwares so they wont slows my pc down ? THANK YOU SO MUCH

I bet its NORTON isn't it? If its Norton, you need to get rid of it from your registry and use the Norton Removal Tool- a software created especially by Norton themselves to delete their software.

The important thing here is you need to modify the registry. The registry is a very sensitive thing, if you disturb it, you might risk causing permanent damage to your PC, so be careful. Follow the instruction on the website below:

Can somebody tell me ..how ?windows

download free program called "Ccleaner" it has the option to remove old "add/remove" programs that are still listed but have been deleted. It does this by altering the registry. I have never had a problem with it.
