nod32 and antivir is good, I know but both of them have there limitations recognizing Virus. I used both to clean different Virus...But they failed in some cases like above...

spyware, kaspersky also failed..

Oh by the way I know it's best to run anti-Virus in safe mode!

NONAME is right, these are essential Windows processes, if you try to kill them the system may crash.

Get rid of it, Download AVG or Avast antivirus program which are both free, once downloaded and installed on your computer, check for updates do a full system scan. restart your computer and install Spybot Search and Destroy, which again I think is free, , do a scan with that program and that should set you up with a trouble free computer as far as the internet and e-mail are concerned... Get rid of every last piece of that program and then download and install avast or avg anti virus, they are free and work far better then the pay programs you can get.

Then go download ad-aware of spybot search and destroy to get rid of you spyware problem.

AVG is a crap. I knew I had a virus since I couldn't access Task manager, folder options, registry editor etc., I scanned with it and reported " No threats detected".

Kaspersky did the job.

For total PC tune up, Use system mechanic I deals with all the pc problem and even comes with an antivirus and a firewall.I' d also recommend Tune up utilities

Hi, Recently I accidentally downloaded and active X which was for spy crush. I although hv Panda anti Virus installed on my system but it didn't detect it and it continued to flash every alternate second with warning. I tried searching it out but no sign. Approached Panda they asked me to follow their advise which I did but it is still showing it's button and sign. Any way to locate and remove??

I recently had the same problem. I ran AVG antivirus and then manually removed the entries from the registry.
You can't rely on one defender especially when you are in the internet, so you must strengthen your security. Some Antivirus program like what you have has doesn't have protection against malware. Just try this my 2 Favorite Anti-Spyware programs from Lavasoft Ad-aware 2007 and Spybot Search %26 Destroy 1.4 and it's free of charge. Next time be a vigilant when you try to download an Active X or any program, 'cause even if you have all the best defender on your computer it is always depends on you.

Hackers use spyware to get info of your PC. Get Ad-Aware and Spybot from download.com free. Scan regularly. Also delete all your cookies, internet history, temp files etc on a regular basis.

Just read some other answers, Viruses hurt your computer, Spyware hurt you!
There are two camps out there. Those that like AVG and those that don't. I personally like it. I'm sure that you will get some responses from the other camp as well. First, AVG is free. It automatically updates itself once a day with the latest virus definitions. And it is easy to use.

There are more than several options about what Virus Scanner to use. The important thing is to use one. So you are on track here.
