Best free anti-spyware are Ad-aware Se Personal (find.pcworld.com/51644) and Spy Bot-Search and Destroy (find.pcworld.com/51646). Anti-virus softwares are AVG Anti-virus (find.pcworld.com/51642) and Avast 4 Home Edition (find.pcworld.com/51640). Registry cleaner is Microsoft Reg Cleaner but i don't know download link.
Beer_farts link for spybots is good. He forgot virus protection: http://www.grisoft.com/doc/1/lng/us/tpl/... which is better than Symantec and Norton and is free as well.

If you're infected, you may need more than one spyware package to clean your machine. Try http://www.lavasoft.com/. Spybot and Ad-aware should get rid of most, if not all, of your spyware problems.
