How can I contact Symantec for free to get them to fix my software?

I just paid $39.95 to renew my subscription for the Norton Anti Virus but I just discovered that it is not working correctly.

When I go to their Help pages they give me all kinds of explanations for questions that don't apply to me.

When I try to contact one of their representatives, they want to charge me $9.95! I'm not going to pay that just to get them to fix their own screwed up software.

Anyone know how you can contact them for free to get them to fix their mess?

sorry they stopped supporting my computers so I have used avg and avast for free. kept $600 in my pocket and been virus free for three years without symantec.

if it were still p. norton's company he would fix it. unfortunately he sold it to symantec and they just do not care

Hi, NORTON, Mcafee and one or two more are just rip off's. There are just as good FREE anti-virus programs avalable. like AVG, and Personal firewall, windows Firewall is just as good as anything, just bear in mind you cannot run two firewalls. so make sure that there is only one running on your system. you can run anti-spyware, trogen killers, malware killers all at the same time if you wish. there are lots of free programs with out going to the expence of buying costly programs that you have to KEEP BUYING every 12 months WHAT A RIP OFF.
