I just downloaded AT&T Yahoo software. It has security features. How is that different from McAf

specicially:

1. Since both softwares are installed, which one, McAfee or AT%26T Yahoo is doing the security activity (such as anti-virus) for me automatically?

2. If both are doing the same job, would that slow down my computer? Shall I uninstall one of them?

3. Are the two software very similar? If so, shall I continue to pay for McAfee, since AT%26T Yahoo is free?

I also have AT%26T Yahoo. I've been using their free online protection for about 1 1/2 years and I haven't had any problems with viruses or spyware. The AT%26T Yahoo protection is provided by Computer Associates (just another company like McAfee, Norton, etc.) You're getting the same protection as if you went out and bought these two products:

How is that different from McAfee? I can't answer that. It's like asking how is a Ford different from Chevy. They're both cars, they both have engines, transmissions, brakes, steering wheels, tires, etc. We know they're different but the bottom line is they both provide transportation and get you from point A to point B. Same thing with the different security products. So to answer your specific questions:
