Removal of spy crush software?

Hi, Recently I accidentally downloaded and active X which was for spy crush. I although hv Panda anti Virus installed on my system but it didn't detect it and it continued to flash every alternate second with warning. I tried searching it out but no sign. Approached Panda they asked me to follow their advise which I did but it is still showing it's button and sign. Any way to locate and remove??

I recently had the same problem. I ran AVG antivirus and then manually removed the entries from the registry.
You can't rely on one defender especially when you are in the internet, so you must strengthen your security. Some Antivirus program like what you have has doesn't have protection against malware. Just try this my 2 Favorite Anti-Spyware programs from Lavasoft Ad-aware 2007 and Spybot Search %26 Destroy 1.4 and it's free of charge. Next time be a vigilant when you try to download an Active X or any program, 'cause even if you have all the best defender on your computer it is always depends on you.

Hackers use spyware to get info of your PC. Get Ad-Aware and Spybot from download.com free. Scan regularly. Also delete all your cookies, internet history, temp files etc on a regular basis.

Just read some other answers, Viruses hurt your computer, Spyware hurt you!
There are two camps out there. Those that like AVG and those that don't. I personally like it. I'm sure that you will get some responses from the other camp as well. First, AVG is free. It automatically updates itself once a day with the latest virus definitions. And it is easy to use.

There are more than several options about what Virus Scanner to use. The important thing is to use one. So you are on track here.

Computer trojan?

We have 3 computers in my house, 1 of which we had only used for online games and such, but this computer did not have any anti-virus/anti-spyware software of any kind. After awhile the computer started acting up, and now whenever we even turn the device on it says it has a trojan that needs to be deleted, everytime this happens I go to download a anti-virus ect. but after only a little time the computer says it cannot function and shuts down. Is there any way I can make this computer usable again without going to pay 50 bucks at best buy or something of the sort, I really don't care if all the files are deleted I just want the computer to function again. Okay I am having a major problem with my computer. I have this Norton Anti-Virus Protection Software on my computer and had it ever since December of last year. I have had no problems with it up until This past weekend. All of a sudden it has been de-activating itself and it wont re-activate. What could the problem be here? Should I take it to a computer repair shop and let them find the problem and fix it? Please help me as I really dont know.

Also, I did have this Ad-Aware Virus Protection Software on my computer too, and had no problems with that, until this past weekend when I had to purchase an upgraded verson of it. ever since then, my Norton thingy has not been wanting to work. You have a virus witch deactivates any anti-virus/malware stoper/ad stoper type of softwares.
