I am looking for some Internet security, preferably an all in one package that has a firewall, anti-virus and anti-malware software (as a minimum). I currently have Norton 360 and it's coming up for renewal. However, I can't stand the way it takes over my system and does things the way it wants to rather than how I prefer to. In other words, it is not very flexible. I want to try something different next time round so grateful for any suggestions. I am happy to pay for a package if it's decent.

Which is the best Internet Security package?systemworks
Hi, most security systems work like this, that's why they call them security systems so things cannot be missed. Usually these systems work first by scanning and then by removal, this takes time. Computing is not a rush job if you try to rush things then things get forgotten, and that's when problems start. It is just as important to def rag your drive as it is to keep a firewall and anti-spy,malware,virus etc. keeping your system clean is a must in any event and running a system with out is suicidal and just asking for trouble. there are quite a few systems out there but they all have different ways of doing the job so no single program is better than another. AVG, and such programs are ok in an emergency but not really good enough to run on a permanent basis. NORTON, McAfee and made and built pacifically for the job, yes they are expensive and your you do have to renew every 12 months but believe me that's far better than having to get your PC repaired and the cost of that every few months.
