I cant open firefox,error msg''Use IE messages upon opening Firefox''?

my os xp sp2.i cant open firefox in normal mode.its shows some error ms''Use IE messages upon opening Firefox' %26 close firefox automatically.i can able 2 open %26 use firefox safe mode only.y this happend?how do i fix this issues?

i can run hijackthis programs to scan my system.its shows lot of registry settings.i dont know how to change in registry.im just beginner level in computers.plz quide me how to change registry setting to firefox run properly in normal mode.plz explain step by step,
